Screen PalsDelete your Screen Pals account
You only have a Screen Pals account if you signed in with Google in the app. Here's how to delete it, and what happens to your data.
In the app (right away)
- Open Screen Pals and go to Profile â Account.
- Tap Delete account.
- Tap Delete to confirm. It happens straight away.
Without the app
- Email manibysani1@gmail.com from the Google email address you signed in with, and say "Delete my Screen Pals account".
- So that nobody can delete someone else's account, we'll confirm it's you by writing back to that email address. We delete the account within 30 days.
What's deleted, and what's kept
- Deleted: your Google email address and Google's ID number for your account. Other phones signed in to the account are signed out.
- Kept: what you bought stays with the phone you deleted the account from, under its device code, so you don't lose your pass or credits. Records of purchases are kept as long as the law requires for our accounts.
- On your phone: your wellbeing numbers, pals and pictures were never on our server. To remove them, uninstall the app or clear its data in Android's settings.
- Want everything removed, including the phone's random ID and its purchases? Email manibysani1@gmail.com with your device code (Profile â Your device code). We'll delete it all except the purchase records the law asks us to keep.
Signing out is different
- Profile â Account â Sign out only takes the account off that phone. Your purchases stay with the Google account, ready for when you sign in again.
